I am currently living at the Apartments at Pike Creek, but searching for a new place! The bad things: heating bills very high on the bottom floor, and it always feels cold. Our heater broke and had to be repaired twice. Water damage! We had black mold in our closet, on our ceiling, it was really gross. We had countless leaks from the apartment above us. Also, under our sinks leaked and the wood rotted and had to be replaced. Our entire laundry room ceiling had water damage and had to be repaired (crappy repair job), blinds had to be replaced twice, problems with sink stopper breaking, bathroom door broke and took forever to get repaired. Every once in awhile the ceiling light in the hall will leak water. Water damage spots on ceiling. That is only the bigger problems. Oh, and our car was broken into, and the cops came one night to tell us a bunch of people had their apartments robbed while they were out during the day. I have lived in an apartment complex before and it was not this bad! Thankfully we got a "deal" which of course they give to almost everyone. When our lease is up we are out. The good things: Office staff is nice. Tennis court and pool are great. Open floor plan. Pretty exterior. Not worth the cost even with a "move-in special".

I have lived at this community off and on. There is no other community this nice in this location. You will have problems no matter where you live. The grounds are kept immaculate and maintenance does a great job. It is not the apartments fault Delmarva energy is so high, I know the windows are drafty but thats at any apartment community. This is by far the best place for the money and the quality of service.

Delmarva is not the problem. The closet is a ice box and the 2nd bedroom is just the same. The place is expensive for what it is! Problems might happen no matter where you are but for $1,000 a month I should not have to have maintentance on speed dial. I can only laugh now when something breaks because its weekly. The grounds are covered in dog crap. Maintenance takes awhile to get the issue resolved. Its simple..the place is falling apart and the ratings prove it.
