I currently live in Towne Court and have been here since before the new owners took over. It took a while but now things have been running very smoothly. It seemed like it was a hard transition for all new owners, managers and stuff to come into in not knowing anything. The prices were raised BUT the apartments were renovated and look so much better. I now have all new cabinets and floors. I am not a student I am a single mother of 1 and amazed at how this place has gained control back of the partying students. The fitness center is actually useable now & even has a game for my child to play while I am working out. Along with tanning beds that are free which saves me time and money. I see on here that people complain abt their utilities but seriously in the summer my water bills are like less then $10.00 so I'm not sure what they are talking about. I feel bad abt. what I have read b/c i've had a good experience here the last couple yrs. I guess each person has their own experience though. Thank you for reading my review.

New cabinets? yea, ones they didnt even use a level to put up. They're so crooked they make the shelf I installed underneath them look rediculous. The tanning beds are only free for a few uses depending on the size of the apartment, like 1-4 a month. Control of the partying students? I guess that's why in the past 2 week's there have been 2 very loud parties into the wee hours of the morning, with people talking in the hall, trash everywhere, and broken beer bottles on the curb. The first time the police even came out (didnt stop em from doing it again). And sure, your water may be 10 bucks.. but the charges for heat are rediculous. We REDUCED our use of the heat when we got a $60 heating bill one month this winter, and our next bill was over $100!! We went to the office to complain, and guess what? there was people right behind us in for the same thing. They claimed everything was working fine (I later noticed they TRIPLED their rates with no notice what so ever). You might want to tone down your safety rating too. That glorious system entry system they installed is still on the fritz. The back door never latches, and thank god. When the power went out here (and then came back), neither the code box or the fob system worked, we could not get in to our building. Luckily, the back door wasnt latched.. making the system useless, but at least we got in. And their 1-2 lights in the parking lot always burning out.. nothing safer than a creepy dark parking lot at night. And a side note.. our screen door which we were promised a replacement before we even moved in, still hasnt been replaced.. it's been almost a year.

The security system is not very safe when anyone can get in to any building with a simple code. There are teenagers who come into our building just to ride their bikes down the stairs and out the door. And the cameras in the hallways? The office got an attempted break-in on tape, yet wouldn't give the tape up.
