i lived in university courtyard apartments for three years and i loved it.

parking - We lived in the 500 building which is right next to the visitors lot, so our visitors never really had to wait long for spots b/c we could check it out before they got there. sometimes it was a little tough and they had to wait a little bit. They will tow visitors if they are parked in the regular lots or in the fire lane. but i mean that only takes common sense! but as far as residential parking, it's great, there are always a ton of spots right near your door. also, have common sense, there was maybe one burglary while i was there, but i wouldn't blame that on University Courtyards, that could really happen anywhere. Overall I am a young girl, and I always felt safe. There were never any rapes or anything like that, like the previous reviewer said.

noise - we were on the 4th floor of the 500 building so the only noise i remember hearing was from the high school when the band played. that got a little annoying, but it only lasted for a little bit. other than that, it's a college student apartment complex so you will hear partying and yelling every once in a while. but nothing out of the ordinary.

grounds - the grounds were always kept up. no trash or anything. snow is always plowed and there is always salt if it gets icy. no bugs or rodents anywhere. if we had any maintenance problems they were usually good about coming, but we never really had any.

safety - like i said before i am a young woman and i never felt unsafe. i mean have common sense, no young woman should walk around at 3 in the morning by herself, but that goes for anywhere. it's all college students living here so you dont' have creepy neighbors or anything like that. no one i knew ever had problems with safety. no break ins or anything. living on the 4th floor though is probably better than the 1st floor.

construction - sometimes in the winter the windows get a little drafty, but overall they're really nice. we had a 4 bed/4 bath and all that room was great. the carpets were a little out of shape from the previous renter, but if you ask they will shampoo them before you move in. so if you are a clean person and keep your apartment nice, then it will stay nice.

office staff - changed a couple times while i was there, they are nice people, you dont' really have to deal with them too much though.

etc - i think the gym was nice, UD has a better one, but having one so close was great. i think the price is great for the amount of space you get, plus all the utilities and internet are included. plus you get a washer and dryer in your room which saves a lot of money and time! our balcony looked out onto the pond behind our building, which i think was a great view.

the only negative was trash. but that's just from us being lazy. i wish there was more than one dumpster, or a trash chute. because you have to walk/drive it over to the dumpster which was a pain.

if you move in and your room isn't in the shape you expected, tell maintenance and they will come fix everything. i think frat boys lived there before us so things were kind of a mess, but they came and cleaned our carpets and fixed everything before we got settled.

The fact that they are furnished too i think is a great deal! the big couch is a little ugly, but you can get a slip cover. the bed was soooo comfortable i loved it!

i really loved the time i spent at university courtyards and would recommend it to anyone. it was safe, clean, fun, and spacious!

the last review was some dumb, irresponsible, person. This place is way better than any other place on campus! mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH

LOL, Could you make it any MORE obvious you are from the Management?? This place is a total hell hole, as was said. Call the NCC Police regular number and they will tell you how often they are here and for what. The Management treats the students like crap, then attacks other people's honest reviews. Why are you pretending to be a tenant? Your review sounds like you are really pushing the place. Makes the Management look rather shabby and cheap, which they are. Stick to running the place, it really needs help!

um no, i'm not from management. i lived there during my undergrad, and i really liked it. i dont know how it is now, 4 years after i lived there. but stacey, get over it, i never managed that place. i know it's hard to believe, but sometimes people have different experiences, and mine was truly positive. email me if you want, mtnluvv@yahoo.com and i'll tell you in person.
