Best Overall Package

Courtyards really has the best overall package. After living there, and living in the real world for a little while, paying for rent, utilities, cable, gym membership, pool, internet, laundry all separately, the courtyards is actually reasonably priced. I lived in a 2 bed/2 bath and paid $760 a month, which may seem a bit high, but once I was out on my own I realized how much the courtyards actually included in the rent. ---- adds up, and $760 isn't that bad. If I lived in a 2 bedroom in the real world and had to actually pay for all the apartment amenities plus a gym membership, pool membership, etc, it would add to be more.
Courtyard Pros:
Includes Water
Includes Heat
Includes AC
Includes internet (which isn't slow, despite what I read on other reviews)
Includes cable (which recently upgraded to 100 channels - any more than that is really unnecessary)
Includes washer and dryer (HUGE benefit - total pain in the ass to drag yourself to a laundromat every 1 or 2 weeks)
Huge closets and personal bathrooms
Includes a gym (better than paying $60/month at the Y)
Includes a pool
Furnished (apartments can charge $50/month extra, or more, for furnishings)
Plus all the other extra benefits - good parking, good location, friendly staff, quick response to maintenence requests.
There are some cons, but they're minimal.
Cons:
Super hard to find guest parking, but most apartments have a less amount, if they have ANY.
Trash is a pain in the ass to take out, because there's only 1 dumpster, pretty far from most buildings
No elevators - moving into the 4th floor sucked, but once I was up there, not a big deal
Benefits highly outweight the cons.
