College Housing

The living space is a little grimy. Walls are uneven from years of patching them. Floors are a little beaten up. The kitchen appliances are old, somewhat rusty. But, it's college housing and close to campus. Once you make the place 'yours' it's a perfectly reasonable place to live. It's relatively cheap for apartments (I used the living room of a 1 bedroom as my room). It's very close to the school. Our neighbors had a party about every 2 weeks--which was loud, but, we could have dealt with them had it been a real problem. Unless you can find a house to share with people, this is a pretty good option. The only depressing thing was when I found you can get a room of an apartment in Brooklyn for $550.
