I have lived at VSV for nearly 6 years. The property manager ----- --------- is a cyborg. She will smile and act polite to get you in the door but once you are there she is rude,obnoxious and unprofessional. Did I forget to say rude and she gets ignorant if you make a legitimate complaint. She has no ability to make an independent or intelligent decision. I don't care if you explain it with flash cards. She is truly hopeless. Prepare to be frustrated and astounded by the level of ignornace. ----- is a sweetheart but unfortunatley she doesn't manage the property.

The trash is the worse. It looks like the inner city in any ghetto in a large city. Walk around especially near the back of the complex and you will see trash everywhere. I take pictures every weekend. Trash Trash Trash is all you see. It's too bad I can't download the pictures to this site. It's the trash situation which is the straw that has broken the camel's back. The rent is too high relative to the poor maintenance (BUT a couple of the maintenace guys are really terrific & work hard to do the best under poor conditions) and the overall dirtiness of the complex.

When I first started living at VSV I loved it. But once I started having major maintenance issues it all went downhill. The trash situation makes VSV "the hood". The management makes it unbearable. The lack of class makes it unliveable. But to each their own.

I could not agree more, the details of my situation are too upsetting and would take too many words to describe. In a "NUT"shell, the Property Manager at Valley Stream Village, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _, has no clue how to communicate, she is NOT firing on all cylinders, and could use a few lessons in manners, not to mention lessons on managing property. Every single tennant I have spoken with shares my opinion. I will say that the trash issue is outrageous, and disgusting, eventually rodents will be the only inhabitants at Valley Stream Village", and unless something is done to provide NEW and better Management personel, they will all live happily together! P.S. Encounters/dealing with all other office personel have been wonderful, but the "Manager" MUST BE OVERTHROWN!!!!!!!

If you are so unhappy you should move- making such a comment is crazy- why put yourself in that position???????? I live there as well and I do not think it is as bad as you say- but I do see people that are not putting their trash in the dumspter. I will be reporting them to the office from now on. We should work together - it is OUR home!
