General Complaint with the Management @ VBH
From: newarkrenter04Date posted: 11/18/2004
Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2004
Many of the women in the management office are often, not willing to help out. The head of repairs is terrific and has a wonderful personality. Over the years, there has been an everychanging list of people working within the Leasing Office. The quality of the staff has deteriorated with each change.
?A nuisance is the incredible amount of dog excrement all over the complex ? and the management not taking steps with the pet owners who violate the policy related to the removal of such waste.
?A nuisance are the dogs allowed to walk around the complex unescorted
?A nuisance is finding out new tenants with the same size apartment are paying $78/month less ? and the Leasing Consultant, would not adjust my rent. Obviously, they don?t reward long-term tenants or those who always pay rent on time. I have been a tenant since August 2000.
?A nuisance and of major safety concern is that failure to fix the ?flood lights? in the hallway that have a ?failed? sticker on them ? since August 2004
?A nuisance is not having a place to park my car ? because some tenants are using 3 spaces even though the codes state only 2 vehicles per tenant
?A nuisance and major concern are the vehicles who park in the fire lane between the buildings and reporting such to the management ? but the management states this is not their remit
?A nuisance and safety concern are the tenants who have gas or other types of grills above the 1st floor, and management has not enforced the code related to this and again have stated this is not their remit to enforce
?A nuisance and hazard are tenants who store motorcycles under the staircase of their building
?A nuisance is the noisy behavior by tenants drinking on their porch during an Eagle?s Game ? and every tenant around them, has to hear what is going on.
During winter, their snow removal is less than acceptable. Sidewalks are shoveled poorly and clearing the parking lots - a less than acceptable job has been done with regards to plowing.
Management of the Village of Barrett?s Run should be concerned about the violations of the Delaware Residential Landlord-Tenant Code - would not support posting a sign for a missing pet.
