Okay if you can take the excessive "attitude"

Village of Canterbury has real potential. The apartments are nice and for the most part well maintained. The major problem is ATTITUDE. The property manager is unusually mean and nasty even when she has no need for it. She's very stubborn on some repairs if she thinks you're being picky, and of course it's at her discretion. I was forced to move after a flood upstairs molded my drywall, agrivating my allergies and my roommates asthma. They refused to replace the drywall, endangering our health. After moving, she still reported it on my credit even though I had VERY just cause and followed legal procedure for getting the repairs done. (She was given notice required by law.) It was her nasty attitude that caused this. Another issue is crime. The property manager is very slow to act to prevent crime. I had two license plates stolen, and my roommate's car was vandalized. She was uncaring. So avoid it if you can't tolerate nasty attitudes, though the apartments are pretty good.
