I lived at the VOC for one year.
Some positives: The apartments are spacious and have tons of closet space. The maintenance guys are promt and friendly. The gym has everything and the personal trainer (FREE!) is awesome. They also have free tennis instruction and a beautiful, clean pool.
Some negatives: Kathy, the manager can be rude but the other staff is nice. When we first were quoted a price, they tried to increase the price when we were signing the lease. Also, even though they offer "incentives" for early resigning or basic resigning of the lease, they refused to let my roommate benefit from the incentives even though she was resigning and I wasn't. Either way, they were going to have someone pay for the full year, so denying her the incentives was kind of cheap and rude.
