This place is horrible! Ever since I moved into that complex I had nothing but problems. I moved into the complex in June 2001 and moved out in November of 2001. Within four months everyone in that leasing office knew me by name because of the numerous times I had to call to get things fixed. Ever since I moved into that apartment I had nothing but problems...examples include: kitchen sink leaking, needed apartment exterminated the first week I moved in due to the fact our kitchen was infested with bugs, dishwasher was broken and was not cleaning dishes, toilet leaking, new vinyl floors were suppose to be put in before I moved in and were not, bathroom door?s lock was broken, front storm door would stick when I would try to open it, back porch screen door had a hole in it, water heater was almost rusted through, air conditioner leaked causing the carpet around it to get wet, clothes washer broke and ruined an entire load of laundry, master bathroom sink leaking, master bathroom?s tub faucet dripped, the wood above our front door was smashed in, and all of the windows would leak when it rained and the seals in all of them were broken. Still half of these things still weren?t fixed when I moved out of the place! Out of all the employees that worked in the leasing office there was only one who cared about my concerns. The head manager, however, cared the least about my concerns. She is very cold and can be very ignorent. I have to admit the apartments are very big for the money, however there is a very good reason for why.....everything else is horrible. I just wanted to warn people what I had to deal with before you go to sign a lease with this place. If you still want to move in this place just don?t move into apartment 6507 or you will just be dealing with everything I listed above. I live in another apartment complex now and have only had to call management one time over the last four months. I am so much happier now that I am out of that place. I never thought an apartment complex could make someone?s life so difficult until the day I moved into Village of Canterbury. I made sure that the management in my new apartment complex was excellent and I have to say I have been very satisified.
