I just recently moved out of the apartment complex. The apartments were definately pricy and definately not upkept like they should have been. My air conditioning broke one weekend (when it was one of the really hot ones) and it did not get fixed for 3-4 days. The outside appearance of the apartments definately was great. The wood in front of my front door was wearing away and left hairballs of wood that got tracked into the apartment. The staff in the office was very friendly but the office manager was very cold and unconcerned about things that went on in the apartment complex. The parking lot definately needs to be paved. Two fountains were installed in the apartment complex, one at the entrance and one in front of the leasing office. The fountains cost a couple thousand dollars to install but they wouldn't fix different things around the complex. The apartment complex is protected by a guard gate. This guard gate is suppose to be guarded 24 hrs a day, well it's not. There is only someone in there from 5pm until 8am in the morning during the week. At one point the gate for residents was broken for a 3-4 month period. I also had an issue with being able to hear my neighbors in their apartments, outside their apartments, when they were showering... etc.
