Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006
I have rented there for the past 3 years, each year getting extremly more difficult. Once the management companies changed, I think the whole community fell apart. Yeah, there doing renovations to make it look pretty on the outside, but if there are leaks on the inside that take 3 weeks to fix (I speak from experience), and if there are birds in your apartment and maintence tells you it isn't a priority to get them out, that you should close the door. 'WHAT! when you are paying for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, I shouldnt have to close any door to keep a bird out-you should fix whatever hole the bird came in through. And then there's the waiting 1 month or more for a new washer, with a newborn baby you are caring for. So they can keep on making the outside look pretty- but only until management gets their act together and get some real maintentence men on staff, then and only then will the VOC be an acceptable place to call home.
