Run away. Take your hard earned money and use it for a real apartment beacause the V.O.C. is a joke. They make scum lords look like Saints.
In 10 months my apartment flooded out 5 times. The last time I had to reside in a motel until the 1 room was fixed, it took 13 days to repair. When I returned the whole place smelled of mold. The closet had mold on the walls. The door had not been replaced but I was assured it was safe for me to return. Since this episode I now sleep with bug spray by my side because the flying spiders and crickets are infesting the place.
The sloppy patch work maintenance does is disgusting. The guard house is for show only. Speaking of show V.O.C. is so busy trying to make the outside look pretty they forget to maintain the inside of the apartments. Don't be fooled by looks.
The air conditioner unit has broken 3 times in 1 summer and they have the nerve to advertise as a luxury apartment building, the only luxury you will find is in the leasing office where the staff spend their time.

I live here as well...its awful. You are so right about everything. Please read my complaint! this is serious!!
