Hi, I have lived here for about 6 months now. Its getting worse. First thing to go...the stove about 3 times. Second thing to go...the AC never worked well and still does not. I had to put my own in my bedroom window. Third, MAGGOTS yes that is right MAGGOTS in my pantry closet in the kitchen. Now I am not dirty and I clean up everything. I hate a mess....this has to do with a dead animal somewhere on the roof. I am on the third floor. ITs GROSS. Has not been fixed yet. My shower leaks and there is a huge hole on the ceiling. NOT MY PROBLEM!
But what put me over the edge....you have to hear this!
I came home from work during my lunch break to let my puppy out. I guess the lawn people just sprayed all this toxic spray all over the complex. So I asked is it okay if I walk my dog on the grass' The lawn guy said no way its highly toxic for humans and animals. You should not go anywhere near this for 72 hours!! And guess what! no signs were posted and no flyers were handed out to the residents....SO if I did not go home during lunch that day I would have never known. long stort short my dog became very sick. I had to take her to the vet....and I am holding the VILLAGE OF "lovely" Canterbury resposible for the bills.
I did complain in person hahaha and they told me "Oh we don't know when they come and spray...we had no idea they were even here...actually we don't even know the name of the company". HAHA yet, they are the ones that hire them!!!
This place is full of crap! They lie, try to rip you off!! Come on...we are not stupid. Please I know its cheap to live here....do not. There is NO BASKETBALL court and there will never be one, that goes for the tennis court, hot tub, security gate/guard shack, and everything else they "promise". HAHA GET OUT!!!
Don't worry I will write more when things happen. I wish I knew better before moving into this crap hole.
