This was my first apartment with my boyfriend and we were expecting in Feb. of 2006, we had moved in Dec. The first month that our rent was due we paid on time and recieved our receipt and everything. They put a 5 day letter for demand of payment on our door! What' I should of known then that they were the most disorganized "professionals" I've ever met in my life! The pipe in the kitchen burst and flooded the entire kitchen and living room. While gallons of water continued to pour into our place, it took them at least 15 minutes to come over. I worried that we would have mold growing under our carpet, which they didn't replace, and had to repeatedly harass and threaten them that I was having a baby the next month and that our carpet needed to be looked at and/or replaced. It took them at least a month just to comply. Our air conditioner too, didn't work, we hardly had heat, there was a horrible smell that accumalated that candles, carpet freshener, and plug ins couldn't fix.{ Probably from the poor maintence due to the flood). So in July we didn't pay our rent and after our 5 day letter for payment expired, we moved out, giving them proper notice. They tried to sue us for the remainder of the year(2500.00), and the judge told them that they couldn't get those funds because we didn't pay within those 5 days so technically we should of been evicted. They appealed that decision, didn't show up for that court date, and I proceeded without them making the judge deny the appeal. DONT MOVE IN, THEY ARE LIARS, INCOMPETENT, AND MESS YOUR CREDIT UP BECAUSE THEY DONT COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER AND DONT KNOW OR REMEMBER ---- UNLESS IT'S CONVENIENT!
