I think this goes without saying that the 29% approval rating this place has is enough of a reason to NOT MOVE HERE. I lived there for 3 years with my wife and the first year was ok. The guard gate was working, someone was there 24 hours a day, they ran the garbage compactor so the communty didn't have garbage laying around everywhere. They sent out community newsletters with discounts on rent, events, tennis lessons, etc. They made it a fun place to live. Then after a year the property was putchase by VINATGE PROPERTIES. I wish we would have moved out then... within 6 months the guard gate was gone, the trash compactor was gone, no more newsletters, etc. Basically everything that was good about this community was gone. With the crappy neighborhoods and low-class people in the area, the main reason why we moved here was the security gate. I always felt uncomfortable with no security there and there was nothing we could do about it. The personnel that runs that office is completely disrepectful, unprofessional and unhelpful. Maintenance was like pulling teeth, power outages, heat problems, appliance problems, you name it. And the best part is that their signs say LUXURY apartments, YEAH RIGHT!!!

I totally agree with you. This is the first place I lived on my own and I hate it. I moved in about 6 months ago and I swear to you that I have had a maintence person in my home atleast 5 times. Average of once a month....sad but true. It took the them 3 months and 3 different people to fix a hole in my ceiling from a water leak in the apartment above us that was only the size of a shoebox and when they were done, i wanted to ask them if my 3 year old had done it for them. Then they had an issue with the people above us and their hvac so they had to tear a huge hole in my closet to fix their unit. Mind you they sent a letter on Tuesday night stating that it would take them 2-3 business days to fix the hvac and that they would be starting it on a thursday. ( so they dont work on the weekends and they said they would just put a tarp over it hole, the size of a sliding glass door, until they were finished the following week) Unbelieveable. Just when I didnt think it could get any worse....I come home last night and I have water all over my bathroom EVERYWHERE and all on my carpet in my hallway to my room. Theres a huge brown ring of water on my ceiling in my bedroom and bubbles full of water on the walls in my bathroom. A water line broke in the apartment above us that they have be cleaning out for the last month. I mean honestly can anything else go wrong. O and did I mention while they were cleaning out the apartment above us they didn't think twice to just plug in their extention cords into the outlets that we pay the electric for on our patio....WITHOUT ASKING! And above all...you call to talk to someone to try and get somewhere and they make it seem like its ok and that it will get fixed EVENTUALLY. Well its more of an inconvience for us to call them. I dont pay $900 a month for this. If I wanted to like in a place where I got treated like this I would have moved across the street into Lexington Green and just prayed not to get shot.I am so upset with this apartment complex that I am looking forward to our lease being over. It didnt mention any of this in the apartment guide. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!
