Well I have been in the apartments since I moved to DE 3.5yrs ago. Well I moved here from FL so I had found this apartment over the internet and all the conversation over the phone was wonderful and helpful and they said because we would be coming in from FL and not be during business hours all I needed to do was call and the office person would meet us. Well that sort of happened, the lead maintenance person met us, he was 3 sheets to the wind, and then the apartment itself wasnt actually ready, they had just shampooed the carpets and they were soaked and the rest of the apartment wasnt clean, so out of our pockets we had to stay at a local motel. Then later the following afternoon the people showed up to clean the apartment sort of.... Then the outside building light didnt work for months..... and months....finally I wrote a letter to the owner and all of a sudden it got replaced. Then many other mechanical stuff the heat and a/c change over....the fire alarm, the power always going on and off the temperature of the hot water was set too high for us to have a young child so I turned it down to where it was supposed to be and then the hot water would let 1 shower be taken, so they came to fix it finally and just turned up the temperature again....and i quickly said that is not acceptable and so a couple more days and they replaced the heating element and it was a bit better, the dishwashers are very old and the cabinets and the refrigerator, and the fireplace .....well lets just say have apartment insurance if you plan on using it......it filled the apartment with smoke after it got going and yes the flue was open, so i stayed up with all the doors and windows and fans on to wait for the fire to die down and the smoke to leave the apartment, i closed my daughters door so it wouldnt affect her.....oh and i have been in both windhover and kent and they both stink, and both times the 2nd bedroom where my daughter slept is the coldest room in the house, you need to at least close all other vents and push the heat to that room and also put plastic on all the windows.......

need i really say anymore.....oh yeah there was a murder shooting at one of the complexes across from my building........
