I chose to live here for its location and proximity to work. That is about all I got. Whenever you go over your initial maintenance checklist they said they would put a work order in and have someone over to fix things up. I am moving out in a month and no one has ever come. The only maintenance issues they have fixed for me are emergency ones. When my heat is broken in the winter, they will fix that.
They try to tell you that the fireplace is a beautiful feature when you move in. Well it is not completely sealed off so it is just another way for you to lose a bunch of heat and A/C you are paying for. The windows are also not very sealed.
For the first three months I received notices that I didn t pay my rent and now I owed a late fee. So I kept having to return to the rental office to inquire about what happen to my money. They just kept making different computer errors, and I made sure to get a receipt for every rent check there after.
Parking isn t a problem except I found out this fall unless you want your car covered in sap, don t park next to the building or even near it. Park away from the trees.
Did I mention the $400 deposit Delmarva required for gas and electric on this property' A bit much I thought.

Village of windhover is horrible. All they just said, plus no lights on the premises. Cars are stolen, broken into, and they refuse to put lights out to make the residents feel safe. The management is horrible, and maintenence is worse. Please do not move here.
