I moved into the Vinings in May of 03' due to all the positive things I read about it. However, Looks Can Be Deceiving. Within one month, my air conditioner broke and managment refused to fix it. After 3 months of living in a 90 degree 3'd floor apartment I was given a window unit that barely cooled my bedroom. Managment finally offered to deduct $500 off my rent for my inconvience. However, there was a change in managment and no record of this aggrement. After months of dealing with rude office staff, it wasn't until new managment entered that I received my deduction.

I have no desire to re-new my lease. Every night I hear my neighbor bang up the stairs between 2am and 3am, with no respect for those who are sleeping. The gate has worked for approximitly 1 month in my 11 months here. They do not supply "pick up bags" for pet owners and therefore there is poop all over the property. There is NO closet space and no counter space. There is even no place in the kitchen for a trash can. There is an arrest almost bi-weekly and I even had a fire in my building. My boyfriend (who is a fire fighter) put the fire out before the fire company arrived. No one even thanked him for this. I hear gun shots on a regular basis and have to drive through section 8 every day where I almost always have to swerve out of the way for children playing and not paying attention.

I would NOT recomend anyone living here. This place is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in.
