i have lived in this apartment complex for awhile with a roommate. i am not listed on the lease. i do want to comment on the complex, though! for the most part i think it is fine for the money that is paid for rent or to co-rent as a roommate. i would like to see some noise ordinances added and notices in each building regarding noise and common courtesy and respect for your neighbors. i think there should be a notice reminding tenants of the noise of their guests and the decibel of the bass on their tv's or stereo's. everyone works different schedules. some people and buildings have small children that either live with them or visit on weekends. people that have guests or friends that visit or pick them up and drop them off and constantly beep their horns at all hours of the night and play their music in their cars at such loud levels that the apartments shake is just plain disrespectful for themselves and their neighbors. i think that if the security gate worked that maybe it would cut down on some of the traffic, but it hasn't worked since i have been subletting as a roommate. i have lived in other apartment complexes where there was a noise sign posted just as common as any other signs. so i would ask that laminated signs be posted in all buildings regarding the noise. that is the major factor that would prevent me from renting on my own (which i am considering doing) or recommending this complex to others. the noise factor is unbearable at times!!
