i have lived here for a couple of years. the security gate has never worked. there is no security at all at nite to curb the gangs of kids that loiter and run thru the buildings, banging on doors and terrorizing certain people. it isn't safe to take a walk around here after dark. you have all these section 8 people complaining and they are only paying $50 or so a month. you have families of 4-6-8 in 2 bedroom apartments which is illegal and overcrowded. the new management is not addressing these or any issues. the only thing the new management seems to be addressing is decorating the office which is ridiculous...and junky..it doesn't even look professional any more..all those fake flowers and nonsense. we were told by the last management staff that the clubhouse/office could be used for tupperware parties and or showers etc..now the new gestapo says no to those few requests. the maintenance man that could fix everything joel, left to work with the old manager, stephanie, and so we have no competent maintenance man. service requests go ignored. phone calls are not returned...the fitness center doesn't work properly and there is trash all over..we need security that walks the grounds at nite with flashlights etc..to corral all of the nonsense that is going on...otherwise i am out of here and i am not a section 8, i am a full fledged renter..paying full price

I have lived at The Vinings now for a couple of years and just happened to see your response online. I too pay full price. Everything you read about this place is true. If you applied here you saw most of it. However, my building is one of quietest. So, I haven't moved. There are 2 other apartment complexes that are nicer with no section 8. Hello Joe thanks for the information . I'm actually working with a realtor from Patterson and Schwartz. They found me a few places to check out. I am so happy I read this site before I signed a lease. I did visit the complex and did see the broken gate. I hate be be biased but I also did see what seemed to be a frustrated mother screaming at her child as she was flicking a cigarette butt on the ground...Very Ghetto.
