I have lived here with my children for over 2 years now..Yes, things have changed quite a bit, although some of the comments that have been made are fair to say for some,but not all. Yes, they need to get a management system running smoothly,fix the gate and other things that have been mentioned in the reviews.The comment that isnt truly fair is the one about sec.8/low income housing..I needed the help myself or God knows where I would be right now..I try and keep to myself and I go agree that there is alot of trouble and things that need to be taken care of.. I think alot of things should be taken to the parents of some of these kids that are making it a bad place to live..so over all some cant say that its just the "welfare people" thats makin it bad..I know im not like that and try to respect others and their families.Maybe somewhere along the line things will change if people try and change things for the better,for our community.People need to step up and take responsibility for their own actions, and help things for a change, and not be so critical of some people that they dont know.

I don't blame the welfare people. I blame the people who traffic an travel to get drugs from Iron Hill and bring it back to the Vinings. I also blame the management who not only keep promising but never fix the gate or improve security, but also let their office phone become temporarily disconected from time to time. They've been promising to fix the gate since I got here 2 years ago. They have the nerve to use the "gated community" theme as a draw for new residents. This place is a joke and I'm in the process of buying a house. If you want to get shot, move here. There was at least one drug-related shooting last month, police yellow tape and all.
