I can not fathom the things that happen at this property. Memorial Weekend was a disaster! Not about to blame it on any Section 8 tenants or anything like that, just plain old people without any manners! Having a big old bash of a barbeque with 25 people in the street is just plain GHETTO!! I did not move to Iron Hill because it had a bad rep, truth is the Vinings is worse. I drive through Iron Hill and it is always quiet and clean, drive into my community and if it's not a party in the street its BeBe's day care. Do yourself a favor, don't move here you will regret it just like I do!

I totally agree with you. However, it should be noted that most of the loiterers here come from Iron Hill Apts. You can see them "squeezing" thru the hole they made in the fence. They loiter, sell drugs, and throw trash all over the areas. The maintenance men pick up every morning a full trash can of cans, bottles, paper, trash, and even one day picked up the bones of a chicken that some people were eating in the parking lot. Nothing but section 8 welfare trash that cause all the problems. And when they play their hip-hop music "loud" in total indifference to their neighbors they feel they have a right to because they are paying section 8 rates of about "$300 per month for a 2 bedroom apt" in this so called luxury complex.

This place was built to be a gated, higher dollar community, when it was first built, but they could NOT get as many tenants they wanted to live here. Nobody who made any real money, "from a REAL JOB" was going to pay top dollar to live next door to Iron Hill...even if the Vinings did have a gate. I mean why rent next door to Crack Alley Central, when you can go a few miles down the road to Barretts Run or someplace nicer without having the hood right next door? Since this place couldn't get tenants they wanted, they had to let the government take over. This is why we have crack heads, hillbilly trash and welfare mothers here with their 20 kids that want to break into your cars and steal stuff. Management turns a blind eye, because the government is paying the rental office the money to keep the Section 8 people here.
