I moved in here in 2007. We had everything that was advertised- a gated, clean and quiet community with law enforcement living in the complex. Why after 6 months did the County police officer in my building and the guard from Wakenhut move out' Because the office staff was afraid to do their jobs. I did not have a problem with the Assistant Office Manager-Angelique- she did her job in making sure that the tenants and their children did not tear up the property and disrespect the other tenants.She made sure that the people and their bad-behind children who did not follow the lease agreements, were put out. Here comes Feb. 2008. They changed the people in the front office, took down the decorative fencing, which did give us some privacy from Iron Hill Apts, have not replaced it and act like they are afraid of the rowdy tenants that they now have. they no longer have the maintenance people, let alone property upkeep. This was a very nice, well manicured development when we moved here. The sent a newsletter around asking us to help keep the property clean, because they are down to 1 maintenance guy after having about 4 or 5 when we moved in. We are moving out asap. Do not move here if you are a decent person who wants some peace and quiet. Yes, Children make noise, as is expected, but parents and manangement should enforce that when you live in an apt building you have to be aware of your neighbors. If you can't do that you need to live somewhere else.

Moved out after 5 years, was advised that Shelter Group changed upper management to act like the management in the office. The current manager worked for Admirals Club apartments. The concept is..so what you move out we will re-rent to section 8. Also was told that they are 95% section 8 at this time. Just pay the rent and don't complain they will like you. Oh, not to forget if your friends with the manager if you have damages you dont' pay. If she doesn't like you, be prepared to pay for a single blind broken.

The whole complex is now almost all B*L*A*C*K*S. And that is why there is so much RAP noise and garbage thrown around. They live like pigs.

Just a little FYI...black people are not the only people that live in Section 8 housing or bad areas. Whites do to, only there called trailer parks...
