I came out of a nearby house, so I am spoiled and picky. This apartment feels like a 3 BR ranch house. The rates are competitive for large, safe apartments. The new management (Korman Residential) is putting millions into updates. The rooms are VERY spacious, since the place was built in the 60's before room sizes were downsizing.

VERY safe.

Maintenance is outstanding - within one day commitment, usually hours.

Very professionally managed.

Under major renovation, so sometimes inconvenient, but worth it.

There is no noise at all, since the walls, floor and ceiling are all concrete & steel.

Great pool to be completely redone. Brand new, comprehensive fitness room and relatively large computer room.

Leakage and heat/cooling problems are being addressed: roof repair and energy efficient sliders/windows. But - the heating is hotel-type heat pumps. Even the new ones are VERY expensive to run in the winter. Air conditioning is fine. The 1st floor is right over the garage, so it's colder than other floors.

Huge balconies.

True, the bus stops are not kid-friendly. But, the schools are excellent in this Brandywine School District feeder pattern (elementary school around the corner), there is very ample grassy space on site, basketball hoop, tennis. Where else is there a new county park next door with walking/biking paths, completely new golfcourse, playground, and soon team worthy soccer fields.

Water is included. Cats and small dogs are welcome for a fee, as is covered parking.

I challenge anyone in the rent range to find a place even close to this one. Much less desirable complexes are in the same rent range!
