We could not stay there any longer. Korman Residential puts a good face on a bad property and really asserts itself as refurbishing and reconditioning the bad property. They do a great job of barely fixing, barely maintaining, and barely making the place to work and are so overwhelmed by their poor refurbishing that they cannot make time for service calls or things that need to be fixed before you even move in.

The entire time we had a closet door off the hinges. For 2 out of the 3 months our tub would not drain, our fan for the stove would not work, and the light for the stove would not work. For one month our garbage disposal would not work backing up our sink. And for the entire time it took multiple tries and finally face-to-face appearances with the manager to get something done. Wretched service.

Not only is the service wretched but so is the management. Rotten to the core. Their friendly faces and smiles disappear if you are (a) a male or (b) have a complaint. They will "refer" you to their manager, or talk to "management" and come back as an "advocate" but really did not do either.

If the first two things don't take you away or bother you or you may find them simple flukes Brandywine Hundred is the place for you. To iterate some of the ratings: you will hear your neighbors, somewhat. Pets (as are yapping dogs next door like ours) are allowed with a deposit. Moving in is hard because you must schedule the elevator. Which also means if other people are moving in they will take up the elevators making it infinitely impossible to use them. Sometimes trekking down the 5 flights of stairs is faster than waiting.

Tenacity, patience, and knowing how to put pressure on the right people to get the job done is required to live at Korman Residential at Brandywine Hundred. If you succeed, congratulations but we chose the low road and left the complex.
