A fair opinion From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/27/2008 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008   My lease is almost up so I feel comfortable posting a review. I am not posting anything I haven't said to the office dozens of times. First, the good things; reasonable rent, plenty of parking since the permits were issued, nice grounds, spacious floorplans and excellent maintenance staff. That being said, I can't wait to get out of here. I'm sure some buildings are better than others but mine is terrible. There is constant noise from skateboarders (even in the buiding), music from neighbors below, music blaring from cars as the cars are worked on, and kids using the hallways as a playground. The common areas are cleanned every Monday and by Wednesday my neighbor have tracked in mud, dirt, left food wrappers by the mailbox and cruddied up the laundry rooms. I had a problem with roaches and while it was dealt with swiftly, it involved a lot of work on my part. Snow removal left a lot to be desired and I was stuck in my apartment last year for 2 days. Yesterday was Memorial Day and last night, we returned home after being away all weekend. Neighbors shot off illegal fireworks in the common area till midnight and a fight broke out right infront of my bedroom window, with vulgar language and slapping. There has been a lot of car vandalism in the three years I've been here and there was a vagrant breaking into ground floor apartments. I think my other issue is there is no effort to retain residents. I have been here for 3 years and not once has management cleaned my carpets, exterior windows or touched up paint. When I discussed moving to another building, I was told it would be a new application with a new security deposit. I would caution that before you commit to living here you drive around on the weekend and at night. Make sure you know what you're getting into.
