I completely agree with the previous negative comments. Greenville Place is not well lit, shady and not safe. While living there they had a bad case of vandalism - over 50 cars in the community had their windshields smashed in one night. Luckily mine was not one of them but after talking to a local policeman about the incident he informed me the community has lots of robberies too. What you are hearing is real - a police officer himself told me to stay away from this place!!! In addition, their laundry center is run-down with a few of the washers not working in wintertime due to the water freezing in the pipes and bursting in puddles all over the place. Their maintenance is lazy and I had to request multiple work orders for the same issues. Since the apartments are old, the closet space I got was exactly 3 square feet. And as far as the community being close to the city - the only thing it is close to is the local Einstein Bagels and a GMAC bank. You won't be close to the bars in Wilmington and neither will you be close to any even remotely convenient shopping centers. It is absolutely not worth it!

I agree the Management acts like this location is something to be sought after. These places are over 50 years old, and show it. Plus Mid-Atlantic Reality manages them. Take a look at their other complexes ie Salem Village, Heritage Court, Village II, complete slums. This is supposed to be their "centerpiece", they can keep it. I moved out 6 months ago, left the apartment in BETTER condition than when I came in and they still tried to deduct damages. There were none. A snotty Management company and an old falling apart complex. Don't let the location fool you.
