If you decide to rent at Greenville Place, be sure to fill out your initial inspection sheet very thoroughly and keep a copy! They will charge you for things that prior tenants did... such as shelf paper in kitchen cabinets. If you dispute the charges, they DO NOT give you the benefit of the doubt despite the length of time you rented or if you paid on time and kept the apartment in nice condition. It is your word against theirs. They are not very customer service oriented. Greenville Place is a pretty community in a very nice location, but don't expect to be treated with consideration, you will just be an apartment number.

Couldn't agree more. Be very picky when moving in and take pictures. Carpet needs to be shampooed and spotless as it is expected from you even when moving out after a short term stay. On the moving date, the fridge will be smelling bad and the stove will be dirty. If you clean, make sure that there are no soap spots left behind, as they will charge for those as well. You can try, but they will find things to keep a good chunk of your deposit.

Not only did they try to take our entire security deposit, they claimed that we owed THEM extra! They claimed that we didn't steam clean the carpets - when we had plenty of proof that we did! The last reviewer is right: take copious amounts of pictures, and better yet - video tape it so you can document the squeeky floorboards and loud construction noises. Take the time to fill in the inspection report very carefully - note every single blemish! Make sure that they get the picture that you're watching them very closely, because as other have stated, this place is heartless and will not give you the benefit of the doubt. They are the only "game" in town, so to speak, so they feel they've got some leverage above the tenants.

I could not agree with you all more! Upon moving from one Mid-Atlantic property to another...I spent two days making my apartment perfect. They nit picked the place apart until they took over 2/3's of my deposit! I was shocked and very disappointed, upon move in to the new place..I definitely made sure to document every single spot or blemish with notes and pictures. Let them try that with me again! Mwahahaha!
