I agree with everyone's comments about the apartments looking clean and nice, but the uptake of the building is horrible and the units are terribly overpriced. They have constant issues with the elevators; just a few days ago the fire department had to come out because tenants were trapped in the elevator. Personally, I live on the seventh floor with a roommate and I am tired of using the stairs because all three elevators are constantly out of commission. The front desk workers are very kind and polite, but the management office is a piece of work. The recurrent theme is that the apartment building defines chic and modern city living, but most nice apartments in NYC I've visited have working elevators and a competent management office. Oh well, consider yourself warned...
