I have to agree with overpriced and noisy! I paid an arm and a leg for such a small apartment and couldn't be happier that my lease is up and i'm gone! The elevators are always broken! You can hear everything that goes on in the apartments next to you, down the hall, hell you can even hear people having conversations as they walk down the hall and don't get me started on the barking/whining dogs at 1am. When I asked about this, I was told there was a code that had to be upheld for "ventilation reasons." Besides the price and noise, I had several problems with the valet parking. You do not really have a choice but to park your car with them (costing you an additional $125 a month!) due to the city parking. It is not safe by any means to park your car in downtown Wilmington on the street overnight. You are supposed to call the valet to request your vehicle. When and IF they actually answer the phone, it is NEVER there when you reach the parking garage. They made me late for work several times and eventually I just had to set aside the 10 minutes it would take for them to run up and retrieve my car. In addition to the poor service, I would not trust your car with them period. There were several times when I got into my car and there was evidence that someone had been in there since I dropped it off (i.e. my interior light was left on in the car when I turned it in the previous day during daylight hours.) The gym is about the nicest thing at this apartment, however it was miserable during the summer when the air conditioner in the basement was out. It was like working out in a sauna and this happened a lot! The individuals who work the concierge desk were generally very kind and helpful as well, having said that the leasing office agents were horrible! I believe the only time they were actually nice was the first day when I was signing the lease! When they are actually in their offices they are very rude and do not seem at all open to answer your questions or address any concerns you may have. I do not recommend this apartment at all. If you are moving to Wilmington, Delware for a job I would highly suggest getting an apartment/house outside of the city and commuting (Newark, Delware is a very nice area as is West Chester, PA, both are reasonably close by).
