Decent Place

I've lived here one month after it opened in August 2003, and I've never had a problem with anything or anyone. The finishes are decent, fixtures are good (I've never had a problem with any of the appliances), but the construction looks rushed (carpet is thin around tack strips, molding cuts aren't square or sanded) but is still acceptable.
The area is what it is. The neighborhood isn't gentrified yet, and is between two poor areas of Wilmington. However, besides an occasional bum asking for change on the street, I've never had a problem. I've only seen evidence of one car broken into in the nearly three years I've lived here. As long as you don't leave stuff on your seats, no one will bother your car. Parking is free from the city, and there is always a spot within one block of the building.
If you don't like living in a city, then don't move here. The place is decent, but if you don't like encountering a bum ever now and then or having to park a block away, then I recommend someplace in the County.
