Ships Tavern is a nice property, HOWEVER...
the property manager is all fluff. I have had issue after issue within this property & the landlord has done nothing to reslove it but make empty promises. The area itsself is not the best, though they are trying to build up downtown Wilmington & any issues you have within your unit will not be resolved if you rely upon management to resolve it. If you want to live somewhere where management actually is caring & concerned, don't move here. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV

I was once a resident there @ Ships Tavern & I'm afraid I'd have to agree, management isn't the friendliest, they make promises about getting issues resolved & they never do. Management lacks in customer service, honesty & concern for the residents. The apartment ittself was nice, but the area is not safe, parking sucks, & management is unprofessional, plus anyone can get into Ships Tav, which makes for some undesirables in terms of who your neighbor might be. I would continue to look beyond Ships Tavern.

I am an a current resident of Ships Taverns and have been since May 2006. The property manager from that time is now gone. So I Trust that a lot of the old issues are also gone away also. I have not met the new management but I felt some relief to know that management had changed. Several residents had complained to me about the old managers attitude and their experience with her. I did my best just to limit my contact with her. If you are looking for some place that is safe,clean, nice on the inside, and no riffraff on the out side and affordable this is the place for you.
