I have lived @ Ships Tavern Mews for 5 months and I am moving out early. In terms of management, the property manager has been very accommodating and helpful. This doesn't take away from the many Cons of this property. To start with the walls and floors are paper thin. I have had problem after problem with the tenant below me. I have complained time after time to management and the tenant. But nothing has changed They continue to play music and rap non- stop, it has made for a nearly impossible living arrangement and has cause me to move elsewhere. Secondly there is no sense of cleanliness from alot of the tenants they will leave trash where ever and have trash bags sitting outside their doors for days which smells up the hall (even though the trash-room is right down the hall, they will even throw their trash on floor in the trash room rather then down the shoot, which blows my mind) tenants will also smoke in the stairwell, which makes it smell like an ashtray. Thirdly the area is not the best, people are outside yelling and arguing almost every night and blaring their car radios, which will wake you up because of the paper-thin windows. As for the apartments themselves they are nice and updated for the most part (but cheaply made). Some have a great view of market st. Wilmington is really trying hard to clean up the riverfront, but moving slowly. In conclusion dont move here. You will most definitely regret it.
