I would recommend going to an apartment community where you pay electric. I think you forgot to mention that you are spoiled and have doormen and free electric. Get a grip you whiners!

'Free' electric, what baloney! The electric is included in the VERY HIGH RENT and what good is that if the apartment is unbearably hot and you cannot store fresh fruit outside of the refrigerator and you cannot use the apartment due to the humidity and heat and you cannot safely take a shower due to the water switching from 'medium' to EXTREMELY HOT at any time during a shower. I have taken the temperature of the hot water and it is ABOVE 170 degrees. I used a very expensive meat thermometer to take the temperature so I know it is accurate, but anyone can scald themselves with the water so that's proof enough. As for 'doormen' you never know how they will treat you and there are several who SLEEP on the job. AND the elevators are always breaking down too; in fact they are SCARY. I moved out recently and am still considering a class-action suit against the owners because I feel VERY ripped off.
