Bad, old, rundown fixtures, no heat, noisy systems

I have been struggling with the management for the part three months regarding numerous issues with our apartment. They have given us all sorts of run arounds. Apartments are old, especially the heating/A/C and bathroom fixtures. Very noisy systems and very old and inefficient. Bedroom vents are all blocked so there is no heat or A/C. Management is nice and responds well for simple issues but otherwise you are forced to live with it.
Area is very nice - which was our reason for selecting the complex. Rent is above average.
I do not recommend top-of-the-hill as there are several other nicer places in the area. We intend to move out at the end of the lease term.
