I've lived at VFP for two years now. Prior to that, I've been living on the west coast my whole life. Therefore I really don't have much experience with renting in the DE/PA area and won't be able to compare VFP with its neighboring apartments. Having said that, VFP is certainly better than any other apartments I've lived in out west (and I've moved around quite a bit because I'm kind of picky). The thing I like the most is its quiet neighborhood. I'm extremely sensitive when it comes to noises, and I don't recall that being a problem at all (either I have really queit neighbors or the apartments have really thick walls). The interior of the apartments... well, let's just say they weren't built yesterday. It's not unusual to see small cracks here and there. The only complaint would have to be summer time, when termites begin to show up for days at a time near the living room windows and you can see literally hundreds of them just sitting around the carpet area by the windows. Not sure what they can do about that except a full-scale fumigation process. The bottom line is, I have been very happy about the apartment, and I'm sure you would too.
