It's apartment living-what do you expect'

I've lived here for 3 years, first in a 1 bedroom and now in a two bedroom/2 bathroom. I agree with similar postings that the hot water heaters are uncommonly loud. Seems like an odd complaint, but you'll see why. There is little closet space which really hinders storage of any kind. You can't use the hot water heater closet for storage for safety reasons, yet most are twice the size that they really need for the equipment. The walls are definitely thin, especially betweent he upstairs and downstairs 1 bedroom apartments. I could hear my neighbor sneeze, and he didn't like that I even walked around in my apartment because the floor squeaked. Complaints or maintenance was handled quickly for me, but the maintenance personnel themselves leave a little to be desired. The sub-contractor for lawn care does a great job. It is a very clean community. I have never had any safety concerns. I feel quite secure, contrary to other's postings. You can check the New Castle County Police crime map for any crimes in the area. It is more accurate then people's descriptions. Another positive is that in both apartments I moved into a newly carpeted, freshly painted, updated apartment. Rooms are a good size (except the dining room and kitchen on the smaller townhouse. The amenities of a great pool, nice gym, and business center can't be beat. I highly recommend living here.
