I regret moving in here for various reasons. Where to begin... roaches, sugar ants that never seem to go away regardless of how many times i'm put on the list to have my apartment sprayed, lack of parking space after 6pm-- i literally have to park allll the way around the corner. For paying close to $950 a month, it's not worth having to deal with the lack of pest control. i've complained so many times to the office, and they just keep telling me i have to give the chemicals time to kill the bugs... but how much time does it take''' I've been here 7 months already and this is unbearable. Not only that, sinks and drains are seeming to always get clogged, some days the outlets don't even work for unknown reasons, and the neighbors above me sound like bigfoots.
It was a nice place looking in from the outside, but living here has put it all into true perspective. It's not worth it at all and i'm dying for my lease to be up!!!!

If you think there should be assigned parking again, let the office know. I am sure they have heard this complaint many times and if enough people want their spots back, it will happen. Speak up! And pest control, roaches have been around since the dinosuars. YEA, that is a long time. Archstone Altamonte Springs is in contract with Orkin, one of the best pest control services around, if they do not get rid of your problem, then maybe you have a sanitation and housekeeping issue yourself that you need to deal with personally. As far as the maintenance issues go, do you tell the office about them or just complain to yourself about them, because i am sure if you told the office, they would have them fixed. and the clogged drains, sounds like a shedding problem to me. Also, have you heard of the move-in satisfaction guarantee? If you realized there were loud people upstairs, relocate to another apt. penalty and fee free!!! And upstairs if you dont like bigfoots!

You know, you are absolutely right... I don't speak up. I just sit here and complain to anonymous people just because it is fun. I actually did not complain to the office a million times with no satisfactory results. And yes, you caught me, my apartment is a complete pig sty which is my fault i have bugs. absolutely. Geese, thank you so very much for putting things into perspective for me. You are a complete life saver!!! What would i have done without your post?!? (*ahem* notice the sarcasm) No, but really... THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH.

The cockroach problem is a serious problem there are like hundreds of them everywhere. These buildings are infested with cockroaches. Its not the tenants lack of cleanliness but management not taking care of the problem. I think it is time to call the city to inspect these buildings for bugs
