We went about 2.5 years ago to see these apt. I knew as soon as we drove up that we would not be renting there (ugly, old, dirty, bad element) but we looked anyway. The halls were filthy, the bad element kids were staring us down, the apts smelled like mold big time, yes they were big but I hated the whole place. It was crowded and noisy and we happened to see the school buses letting off the HUGE amount of kids and that turned me off right there! I know they were starting renovations and that is good but it doesn't help the yucky people that live there! We rented at the other Archstone on Central Pkwy, which was AWESOME. Nice clean quiet people!

True, I have not visited this place in over 2 years. I am not an ignorant person, I am just giving my opinion of how it was when I went there. I know they were doing the renovations but did they throw out all the undesirable people that were there? I did state in my comment that I wasn't there for 2.5 years. You must work there and if you do I am sorry that you are a nasty person but I am not sorry for my 100% honest opinion.

I actually live here, and I agree with yobabypop. Compared to the rest of the other Archstone Communities throughout the United States, this one probably is the worst. Inside, it is roomy and nice, wood cabinets, fire place etc.. but I have plenty of friends who pay $100-200 less , who have a better place. I hate that there is barely any parking. it's ridiculous. I've never been to an apartment that DIDN'T have plenty. I will be moving out within the nrxt month or so, and can't wait.

Well i do work here...and for one if you knew right away that you would not be renting here, why did you waste our time??? I myself hate that. That is like someone coming that is looking for a 4 bedroom apartment, which we do not have, still wanting to take a tour knowing that they are not going to lease. But atleast in their defense I could say that they could at least recommend us to someone that IS looking for a 1 or 2-bedroom! In your case though, I do not think you toured because of that reason....so what is the point???? Also, your comments about ALLLLL The KIIIIIDDDSSSS!!!! excuse me, but we are not a senior living facility, sorry, so because of that and fair housing laws, we must allow families and kids to live here if they please, which I do not mind, because unlike yourself, I do not hate kids and I am not afraid of kids neither! You were a kid once yourself, were you not? And what the heck does "bad element" mean anyways? Becasue I am sorry but last time i checked, we are located in Altamonte Springs, The same city you are residing in now and located in a prestigious school district, where all the local schools are rated 'A' and 'B'...sounds like a "GOOD ELEMENT" to me!!!! Plus, I have been here for almost a year now and I have always received compliments on how quiet our community is! I think you need to pull your head out of your butt and find your way back here and let me take you on another tour.... Yes, I will admit our community is old, but guess what?!?! The other Archstone you ended up leasing at is just as old and has just as many kids!!! haha!!! And mold, excuse me, but no!!! Major issue with us and definately is not going to be present in an apartment we are showing!!! sorry, but you are seriously wrong there!!! Do you not realize that Central Parkway where you live and us are both owned by the same company? You make me laugh....HAHAHAhahahaHAHAHAhahaha!!! And I am sure you can ask any resident that lives here now that our staff takes very good care of them! That is an Archstone Guarantee

I'm relocating to the Orlando area, and I'm going to go so far as to say I'm a month into my research, and this is the least helpful posting. You're going to rate an apartment that you only visited?? Look into your own experience. The best apartment experience I've had was at a cheap place on stripper row in Denver, Colo. They were awesome, with a modest first impression. The place I'm in, complete opposite, great tour, great staff, garbage apartment. Do us all a favor and rate places you've actually lived in. And to the staff posting. I worked e-commerce and have had to defend my company, you'd be more effective if you came off more professional. It's your post, but you said you were staff in the first line and rattled off a smug response. You didn't do your employer any favors. Weak all around...
