I have lived here since August of 2006 and it seems that things are improving-since I have been here there have been no more of the "mysterious" break-ins...I did, however, change my locks when I moved in because I did hear about some break ins.
Some one did try to steal my car the other day-haha on him! The poor sap didn't know how to drive stick so he just left the door open-didn't even take my cds-weird!
Anyway, I have lived in 4 different apartments in different areas of Orlando, and have found that I like this one the best.
The office staff is pretty nice-I did have a problem with maintanence when my fridge died-they didn't come out for a couple of days and all my food spoiled-they did, however apologize and offer to take some money off of my rent for the damage.
Parking sucks-but what do you expect-it is an apartment complex-parking always sucks!
My neighbors are pretty quiet, and the staff has been trying to keep it that way-they even through out our neighbors who had a loud dog! I wasn't too happy about that, they were nice people and I thinkg that the dog was just nervous because they had just moved in. Oh well, can't change it now.
Insulation isn't too bad, I only hear my neighbors upstairs-and that is their kid who just moved in with them-before I could hear nothing.
The street outsoud is pretty quiet, well, except for the darn idiot that rides his motor cycle at all hours, and it wouldn't be that bad except that he likes to rev his engine VERY LOUDLY.
Surprisingly enough, the construction site across the street [which is going to be a Seminole Community College campus] is pretty quiet too-I have been woken up at 8am before, but never any earlier.
I will say that it is not the best place-but it is pretty good-especially compared to the other places that I have lived-and honestly, I will say that before you sign ANY lease, check out the place both in the day and night, and make sure that you read a good sampling of the reviews so that you have a good idea of the pros and cons of a place-honestly, every place is going to have some amount of crime and rude office staff-so don't be surprised when you hear that any place has crime and rude office people-it's just the nature of the beast.

I live here in Camdens As well. The thief did get my car. They stole it and I really blame it on our "lousy" gated community. If you sign a contract that a community is gated...the gates should always work. Not half the time. If the back gate doesn't work...lock it! I had to pay over $500 to get my vehicle (non-drivable) out of the impound when they ended up finding it. Also I think they are really nit-picky here. Just let people live...
