An Excellent Property

For the past 11 years, as a snowbird, I have resided on Camden Properties. The past four or five have been at Camden Renaissance. I have always been more than satisfied with the apartments I have rented.
The staff has always been helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff has always been quick to respond if there was was a problem.
The property is well maintained. Both pools are kept in excellent condition. For anyone interested in physical activity there is more than adequate equipment to keep physically fit.
While there is construction going on, it is temporary and while perhaps somewhat inconvenient it is better to improve the property than let it deteriorate. The rise in rent by a previous poster is an inevitable fact of life. One has to remember that there are amenities that are included in the rent that have be recognized because of the increased costs of everything.
I give Renaissance a 5 star rating!!!
I am a bona fide snow bird. This is NOT a management generated assessment

Yeah I called corporate and told them to read the reviews on this property this morning to see how horrible this property was. They probably went on here and made their own review. hehe!

I does sound like a management generated assessment.

Have you ever thought that some residents may not be disgruntled and may actually like the apt?

Oh and a great thing about this site is you can tell people the truth. This is the stuff they wont find out about by stepping into the office. Maybe they should work harder at pleasing their tenants.

We could start with the noise every day, the extra construction traffic going back and forth all day long (which will be going for at least another year!) and end with the parking issues created by the construction "sites". Even worse, if you have a satellite dish for your TV (as their advertisements on the internet say you have an option of), you have no TV reception for the 3 MONTHS they are working on your building. Not sure who pays the monthly bill for the time you can't use it. Also you must move all of your belongings three feet from the exterior walls while the construction is ongoing and remove items from walls because they may fly off while they are tearing down the outside walls and removing the stucco. Also better plan on higher electric bills while that air condiioning is floating through the very thin remains of the walls! If you sleep during the day and work nights, such as those in nursing, you can forget the concept of sleep, it is impossible.

I have lived here for 4 years also.... That statment is correct for 2004. Now it is a a big ghetto crap-hole. Who would write this isn't a management generated assessment? ONLY MANAGEMENT!!! Seriously I think you only need a 7th grade education to manage this community. Also the original review said we have to remember that the ammenities are included in the increasing rent... which ones are you talking about? The constantly broken gate, the construction, the 9month delay on repairs? Oh yeah those ammenities. Also the reason they are having to do all of this construction.... TERMITES! Yeah, call the county and ask about that. Not to mention this place is so ghetto now. They let anyone live here, I doubt they do anything with the backround check.
