I just have to chuckle, reading all these "rave" reviews about this complex.
My apartment in itself was halfway decent considering it is a 30 year old property. A commendable job to the maintenance guys. I'm still trying to figure out what the latex painted countertops are all about though. (LOL)
But if NOISE is what You like......... You got it! From the noisy train across the road coming through at all hours of the day and night, to ignorant neighbors and their friends who find it necessary to draw attention to themselves through loud music, TV's, musicians, parties at the clubhouse etc. No lie. I wore ear plugs every night so I could sleep. Yes, some of us have jobs that we go to everyday which require energy and physical labor.
Forget about politely telling You're neighbors to keep it down. That lasts about 2 days. They obviously couldn't read the newsletter that specifically mentioned about respecting You're neighbors with noise levels and such.
As far as the office staff goes. The rarity I would go in......more than not I felt like I was being an inconvience if anything. And no, I never really asked for anything. I guess it all depends on who You are. I'm sadly going to admit that You probably couldn't pay me to live here again.
