My husband and I moved here earlier this year because rent was increasing at our old place. It's funny how they forget to tell you all the horrible things about this place on their little tour. First of all, the management sucks. They do not care about you or your problem. All they want is that check on the 1st. When we first moved in we rented a washer and dryer from the complex. Bad idea. So many problems from day one; the washer never worked right. Maintenance said there was nothing wrong. They also said nothing was wrong with our air conditioner that was constantly running but not cooling anything down. Our electric bill was outrageous all summer long. Granted this is Florida, but we never had this problem before. If you have children, do not bring them into this environment. You never know what is going to happen here. From cars getting broken into to children getting ran over by drunk drivers, it's not a good place to have a family. The apartments themselves are dirty. All they do when someone moves out is spray some air freshener and paint the walls with yet another coat of this awful paint color. My favorite thing so far is the fact that the management staff "forgot" to give the residents notice that they were going to be trimming trees. So you have these people outside cutting down trees, which is not a quiet process(esp. at 7:30 a.m.), right on top of your car. Lovely. As if I don't waste enough money every month. I want to have to pay to have a dent removed from my car because some idiot chopped a tree limb down on it.

I am surprised you did not complain about the noise level. We lived on the third floor - knowing that people walking on your head would be intolerable. What we did not know was that sound travels UP as well as DOWN. Sounds from loud talkers, from music, from the street, from the cop cars arresting people. And we moved there because the location was good. Ha ps: try moving out. See how friendly the staff is when you try to move. You will uncover parts of your contract/lease that you did not know existed! And regardless of how CLEAN your apartment is when you move, they will STILL tack on $100 for cleaning expenses AFTER signing off that your place was clean to their satisfaction!

HappyHere82 is an idiot and most likely a member of the incompetent staff of the horrible complex, or possibly gets sexual favors from one of the big breasted bimbos working in the rental office. I lived in that awful place to and it was a nightmare!!

First of all, why on earth would someone trying to rent an apartment tell all of the negative things about a community. Use some common sense. Apartment living requires a little sacrifice. If you want a completely quiet environment without landscapers, children or neighbors than buy a house! Also, if you really do have a problem with people in your building or area call the office, they have always taken care of my complaints. If it is that bad then call the police, they do handle noise issues. And it just goes to show that sometimes you can't make someone happy, this community has needed the trees trimmed for years and when they finally do it you complain? Some people should not be renters.
