I've read a lot of these reviews. Overall, I really like my apartment. It is spacious, the carpet is brand new, and the price is good. (We pay less than $700 for 1100 sq. ft. and 2 bathrooms.)

We have noisy neighbors, but that's what you get with apartment living. I have noticed that a lot of the other reviewers must be racist. I'm white and have no problem with the mixture of people here. I get really sick of people making fun of the Latin people. For God's sake, they're allowed to speak their native language.

I do not feel unsafe here. I have never seen dog poop anywhere in the property, or broken glass...nothing of that sort. The grounds are pretty clean, and I am a picky person.

What does piss me off is the management. They gave us a pro-rated amount for moving in on a day that wasn't the first of month. When we got the lease, it said we'd move in a few days earlier. We called three times to make sure we'd still get the pro-rate that was originally quoted, and were told that was fine. Apparently, the girl didn't know what she was talking about, because two days later we get a late notice for the balance of the days we weren't here. We had no choice but to pay the extra $, which we did the same day. A week later, we get another late notice for the amount. Turns out the girl lost our check. I had to pay $15 to cancel the darn thing and write out another one. Good thing we got a receipt from her to prove we paid it, so we didn't have to pay the late fine of $100.

They also fail to give you proper notice for things. We got a note on our door that in two days, our dining room windows would have to be replaced. I woke rudely at 8AM the next morning to guys tearing our windows out. You can imagine my shock when I wake up and open the door to my bedroom in my nightie and see 5 construction guys in my dining room.

The construction guys aren't very careful, either. Just see the pictures below of the giant hole they put in my wall. They are only making these improvements because there is an impending sale on the property. Let's hope that the new company taking over this place is better than AIMCO, or we won't be living here another year.
