Horrible

I lived in Creekwood North/Altamonte Villa Apartments for a year and a half. New ownership took place and we were promised several things from the property manager to the regional manager for the property. First off these buildings are over 50 years old. The new management has put a temporary band-aid on the outside. Basically over the year and a half nothing was ever done on the inside to improve my apartment. The bathrooms are so small you can't fit 2 people at the same time. The paint job is horrible, a child could do better. The whole complex of Altamonte Villa is nowhere to raise a child. This past Halloween we had a total of 3 trick or treaters. The school bus for Lake Orienta Elementary is unsafe and they jam it with over 60 kids at a time. Back to the inside. The walls are thin you can always hear your neighbor when your in the kitchen. The cabinets and drawers are the cheapest wood possible. Our door jam was cracked throughout and nothing was ever done to fix except for a couple screws and some caulking. Another band aid. My electricity bill was on average $200 a month. There are no trees or anything so your apartment stays hot. Only one air conditioning unit so with a two story apartment it gets hot. The mantinence has done nothing over time and none of them are certified. If you make a maintenece request you are lucky if they even speak to you about it a within a week. Pest control was not done for over eight months! Ever since new management has come in they have cut corners every single way possible. Also they will tell you that they have assigned parking and then tell you later it is not true. In the time we lived there we called Altamonte Springs police numerous times for various disturbencies. They will promise you free carpet cleaning on fridays, lol its not true. The current property manager is a resident at the Palms next to the Altamonte Villa Apartments, shouldn't that tell you something right there. Move in here and enjoy a life of no living space, a loud train off of ronal reagon, and many many more headaches.
