I am old enough to admit when I have made a mistake. I lived at Los Ghettos...I mean Los Altos for two years (if it weren't for unforseeable bills I would NOT have renewed an additional year). The air conditioner didn't work the entire two years that I was there and although the maintenance staff attempted to fix it they are unskilled and don't have a clue what they are doing. I was advised that the hornets/wasp nest that was on the inside of my porch was not their problem even after a guest of mine was rushed to the emergency room after being stung. The business center, with its two broken computers and fax that they said residents were not allowed to use was closed one month after I moved in. The 24hour gym has NEVER been opened 24hours in the last 24months! Even after hiring a professional maid the mold was not able to be cleaned out of the bathrooms. My kitchen ceiling actually fell in the sink on moving day and I left it there for them to see. I have never had the mail stolen but items from my car were on more than one occasion. I also have to say the gate NEVER worked and the fact that locals would break in to use the pool in the middle of the night was a concern as well.
