Saying the management are slumlords is a HUGE understatement. I paid $2000 to move out 2 months before the end of my lease. Don't be fooled. What you see in the model is NOT what you get! Broken appliances don't get fixed and there's mold & mildew everywhere that you can't get rid of. I didn't know Florida had so many rats until I moved there. If you want sleep at night, don't move there. The thundering of the walls that someone wrote is so true, as is the ghetto people that are loud all night. The office staff are the rudest people I've ever met in my life. I think the worse part was when I moved out and the crooks tried to make me pay for things I already paid for. I'm in the process of turning them into the Better Business Bureau because I have proof of all of this and they still won't back down. They even moved someone else in my apartment before my lease was up and collected rent and water from both of us. I asked the new renters if the carpet was replaced which they made me pay for, even though the carpet when I moved in was dirty, stained and old. The new renters showed me that the carpet had not been replaced at all. That's downright fraud there. The list of things wrong with the apartment was 2 pages long when I moved in and not one of them was taken care of while I was there. The place I live in now is 1000% better than Los Altos and much cheaper too. Oh and don't be fooled by the gates- they never work, and IF the jacuzzi ever has water in it, it's cold water. There's much better places in Altamonte to live. Don't get scammed like I did.
