I moved in here 6 years ago, it was a nice place to live, However, in the past 2 years it has gone DOWN HILL FAST! There are not many phone jacks, the place is old, has mold, when somehting is broken, they either tape it together or just never come by. ALWAYS a FIRE engine or police here!!! the appliances are OLD and do NOT work properly!! Office staff is always being replaced, they can be rude, and obnoxious... NOW the maintenance, THAT IS A JOKE!!! I do not know what the critieria is for hiring maintenance, but it looks as though RAVENS CROSSINGS has no certain education requirements for maintenance workers. The compactor is ALWAYS over flowing, the gate NEVER works, the pool is nasty at times, the grounds seem never to be cleaned.. the upstairs people, a 2 bedroom where at least 5 people live, are always dropping cigarette butts, paper, clothing down to my apartment.. and complaining does not help. the parking is horrible, I cannot park in front of my apartment, I have to park in the overflow.. becasuse there are so many people in these apartments, (in a 2 bedroom apartment, now there are in some at least 10 people living) unbelivable. I think some of these people are Illegals, as they cannot speak english, and the office are not aware they live here.! THIS USED TO BE A NICE PLACE TO LIVE...but if you come by, be sure to come at night, when all the chit is going on... that is the true tale of an apartment complex. and the neighborhood.

I agree, I have been here for a few years only because they accepted sec 8, but that is one of the reasons the place has gone downhill, too many sec 8 people that just do NOT care. I too have upstairs people dropping garbage, and cigarette butts near my apartment ( I am on the bottom floor), I do NOT smoke and received yet ANOTHER NASTY note on my door, stating that I would be FINED if they found any more cigarete butts near my apt.. How UNFAIR is that? I plan on moving when my lease is up, just too much crazy here.

I am a single mom trying to make it day by day. It seems as though my income is to low for apatments that are not income restricted. You drive by places like this and it seems nice and some what quite. But after hearing what you had to say really makes it clear that it thoes with no class and edicate that runion it for the rest. Some people feel as though they are lower income that they need to act like trash, and its thoes peolpe that change the complex. They should do an auddit and try cleaning up the apartment.
