When I first signed the lease, I was shown the unit I was supposed to get in the back of the complex. AFTER I signed the lease & only had that weekend to move from my old apt. I was told it wasn't ready & they put me in an apt. at the front of the complex facing the main road. A week after I moved in they started doing road work from 9:00pm - 5:00am for months on SR 434 and I had to use earplugs to sleep or stay somewhere else because of the machines beeping & making noise. A couple weeks later I ended up in the hospital with pnemonia because of the mold in the building. They moved me to another unit and didn't bother to tell me my lease was renewed for another year until they handed me the keys to the new unit, so needless to say, I was stuck there way longer than I wanted to be. The complex cable company they use is a joke. You can't get Brighthouse because they are not contracted with them. I bought an HDTV & hooked the cable to it and it looks like an antenna hooked to the TV. The majority of the channels are all fuzzy & the price for the cable is insane. There was also a murder here that happened 3 years ago that was on the news recently & 2 burgleries that they put a notice on everyones door about recently. Parking was a disaster from broken down cars with expired tags parked right in front of the building. They have been stickered with a notice over a month ago but still sitting there. The only good thing about this place is they do a lot of activities and dinners (whoop de doo). I wasn't paying for a party, I was paying for a place to live. I am glad I have finally moved out of that overpriced hellhole.

How exactly is the apt. complex at fault for road construction?

i lived there 3 years, and the management basically told me pay the market price or move on. thats the way they treat loyal renters who pay on time for 3 years

Do no worry about it. I was out of here once my lease was up. I rather pay extra for a nice, mold free apartment.
